It is still possible to get a great mortgage rate of around 4%. The Federal Reserve has announced that it will soon start tapering its $85 billion monthly bond-buying program, which will almost certainly send mortgage rates rising from their recent lows.
No one should buy a home unless they plan to stay for at least three years in order for the property’s value to increase enough to recoup closing costs incurred when buying and selling. If it’s been longer than three years, give me a call so we can get you moving.
