Home Inspection Need for Regulation

Imagine getting a fairly clean home inspection, then months later finding problems that cost thousands of dollars to repair. It is the only part of the home buying process that’s not licensed and the consumer’s not protected. Colorado is one of only 13 states that does not require some form of regulation for home inspectors. Regulation would not only better protect consumers, but would provide some recourse if things go wrong.
